For the second year running Rusea's High will have to dig themselves out of a hole after losing the first leg of the second round tie in the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition.

On Wednesday Mile Gully High created the biggest upset of the round, beating 10-man Rusea's High 2-1 at the Mile Gully Community Centre.

Mile Gully, one of two best third-placed teams and ranked number 32 in the ISSA rankings made the most of home-field advantage with goals from Demar Wright and Jamar Coley both coming in the second half.

A year ago, Rusea's had a miraculous comeback after losing their first leg against Browns Town High at the Montego Bay Sports Complex, went to Drax Hall and won on penalty kicks on their way to winning the title.

There were also surprise wins for lower ranked teams- Browns Town beat Charlemont High, and Old Harbour High beat St Mary High, both making full use of home field advantage.

Browns Town remained consistent and won their first leg game for the second year after snapping Charlemont High's season-long ten games win streak, beating them 2-1 at Drax Hall.

Rashwan Vernon and Bryan Barrett scored for the winners.

Old Harbour High beat St Mary High 2-0 as well to take a big lead.
