Tyrique Henry netted a brace as Garvey Maceo unbeaten run continues. They showed class and composure to get the better of
Denbigh High by three goals to nil, in the ISSA/Wata DaCosta Cup competition on Wednesday, September 26, 2018.

Tyrique Henry opened the scoring in the 26th minute, slipping the ball through the keeper's legs.
A corner swung in, and captain Anjay gayle headed it home from close range to make it 2-0 in favour of "the Cubans" in the 46th minute.
Henry then made the Denbigh High defenders pay after a defensive error as he scored his second of the day to finish off the contest.

Garvey Maceo coach Merron Gordon praised his team's tactics and organisation.

"I think tactically we were very good today, we were organised, we were compact in our defending, we played good on the counter, and we got three goals".
"we could have gotten more goals, but such is football I think we played well, We need to build on this because we are on 18 points now".

When asked what is his chances of winning the DaCosta cup competition he went on to say.

"Our chance is as good as any; we just have to remain humble and take each game step by step".

Meanwhile in group H, Lennon High returned to winning ways by edging Edwin Allen 2-1 at Edwin Allen football field after a heavy defeat to Clarendon college in their last fixture.
Shevoy Burrell scored the double in the 12th and 28th minute respectively.
