2017 beaten finalist Clarendon College flogged 2016 Ben Francis cup winners Lennon High 5-1, in the ISSA/Wata DaCosta Cup football competition on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the Clarendon College football field.

After a three-game winning streak, Lennon High was riding high on confidence believing they could snatch the 3 points to top Group H ahead of Clarendon College who were favoured to do so.
The top of group H clash was set up to be a thriller and was expected to bring a lot of goals, and the fixture lived up to its expectations.

The prolific Nique Daley was starting his first match this season put Clarendon College ahead after just five minutes of play.
Lennon High roared back minutes later to level the encounter one apiece, through Akeen White from close range.
Ricardo Mcintosh made a great run with the ball, then hit a scorcher from the edge of the penalty area to make it 2-1 Clarendon College, ending the first half on a high for Clarendon.

Substitute Norland Beckford made it 3-1 with his first touch of the ball, captain. Taja Brown made it 4-1, and Antonio Reid added the icing on the cake as he buried his opportunity making it 5-1. 
Lennon ended the game with ten men after having a player sent off for slapping an opponent in the back.

Technical Director of Clarendon College Lenny Hyde says he is happy with his team's performance and happy for the win.

Head coach of Lennon High Byjeon "Chucky" Thomas was disappointed with the officiating of the game and had this to say:

"I think our team's performance other than the first 15 minutes was good; It’s unfortunate that incorrect calls by the referees decided a game of this importance". 
"Clarendon College is an outstanding team in their rights and the referees gave the DaCosta Cup favourites favourable calls".
"I hope it was just a bad day for the referees as the calls looked suspect to me because Our #10 was given a red card when a few of the Clarendon College players 
should have been sent off for Deliberately handling the ball and fouling when we got run-throughs it happened twice in the box".

Clarendon College now tops zone H, Lennon second, Edwin Allen, Thompson Town and Kellits third, fourth and fifth respectively.
