Three schools, BB Coke High, Old Harbour High and St Mary High all made long-awaited returns to the second round of the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition on Saturday when four schools made progress.

Paul Bogle High was the fourth to confirm their spot in the next round, winning their zone along with St Mary High who broke St Mary Technical's domination in Zone J.

BB Coke High advanced past the first round for the first time since 2013, joining Manchester High from Zone F after they beat DeCarteret College 6-0 with Jason Dyer scoring twice to take his tally on the season to nine goals.

BB Coke is on 21 points, two behind leaders Manchester High who were held 0-0 by May Day High.

Despite not being in action, Zone N leaders Old Harbour High made progress for the first time in four years, since the 2014 season after the scores went in their favour.

Central High was held 0-0 by Porus High and ended their schedule on 12 points, one less than Old Harbour and only Vere Technical who edged Kemps Hill 1-0 to go to 11 points, can surpass Old Harbour on points.

St Mary High won Zone J and advanced for the first time in six years after beating Tacky High 2-0 to improve to an unbeatable 22 points.

St Mary Technical, zone winners the last two years, lost for the second time in three days, beaten 2-0 by Brimmervale High to set up a race for the last spot.

St Mary Technical has 17 points with one game to play while Brimmervale High is now on 14 with two games to go.

Paul Bogle High confirmed their spot at the top of Zone O after outscoring Morant Bay High 4-3 and moved to 23 points.
