Eleven schools including former champions St Elizabeth Technical (STETHS) and Dinthill Technical as well as Manchester High and Charlemont all extended their unbeaten runs as the return round of the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition got underway on Wednesday.

St Elizabeth Technical ran by Newell High 3-0 with two goals from Ronaldo Webster, taking his tally to nine on the season and one from Jalani Green as they repeated their first round scoreline.

STETHS have now scored ten goals in their last five games, matching the total they scored in their opening game against newcomers Sydney Pagon High.

Dinthill Technical were 2-0 winners over McGrath High with goals from Romario Robinson and Winston Brown as Charlemont High stayed tied on 16 points in Zone K with a 4-0 win over Bog Walk High.

Manchester High had a comfortable 5-0 win over second paced BB Coke to widen their lead in Zone F as they lead by a comfortable four points over the losers.

Despite being in second place, Browns Town High are still unbeaten in Zone I after a 5-1 win over Oracabessa High and trail leaders Ocho Rios High by a point.

St Mary Technical stayed at the top of Zone J by a point after drawing 1-1 with St Mary High; Port Antonio High are six points clear in Zone L after blanking Horace Clarke 3-0 in their return game following their 8-0 thrashing in the first round.

Old Harbour High and Central High remain unbeaten in Zone O after Old Harbour allowed their first goal in a 1-1 draw with Vere Technical while Central edged Kemps Hill 1-0.

Paul Bogle High and Seaforth are also unbeaten in Zone O after Paul Bogle blanked Yallahs High 2-0 to stay on top of the zone on goal-difference over Morant Bay who had a similar scoreline over Robert Lightbourne High.
