Rusea's vs Green Island action on opening day

Seven schools will put their three games win streak on the line on Wednesday as the ISSA/Wata DaCosta cup competition continues.

Defending champions Rusea's High and former champions Cornwall College, Frome Tech, STETHS and Garvey Maceo as well Lennon High and Morant Bay have won their first three games while Clarendon College will go after a third straight.

Rusea's just escaped with a 3-2 win over Hopewell High on Saturday and will face Merlene Ottey at Pondside while Frome Tech goes to a Green Island team that have come into their own with back to back 4-0 wins.

STETHS has a shirt tip down the road to face Lacovia High while Garvey Maceo will start favourites to beat Cross Keys as Morant Bay hosts Seaforth High.

Clarendon College will seek to extend their unblemished record against Thompson Town.
