2010 beaten finalist and 2016 Ben Francis cup winners Lennon High School recorded three from three wins in the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition defeating Edwin Allen, kellits and Thompson town 1-0, 3-1 and 3-0 respectively, to currently top Group H ahead of former champions Clarendon college who has a game in hand, in the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition.

 

On Saturday, September 15, 2018, At Turners Clarendon, the Mocho based Lennon High move to a perfect 9 points after getting the better of Thompson town 3-0.

Domani Cross(29th), Deno Bryan (58th) and Tyricke Harrison (72nd) got the goals for the boys in orange and blue as they quickly walk passed the Thompson town high defence.

2017 Coach of Clarendon College, now Coach of Lennon High, Byjeon "Chucky" Thomas was very pleased with his team's performance and had this to say: "The game was high paced as any derby, We started well and fortunately maintained the high tempo throughout the game".

We then asked what Lennon high's chances of topping Group H ahead of Clarendon College and he went on to say:

"Clarendon College are the favourites to top the group and even go on and win the Dacosta Cup title".

"Right now we are just looking on taking it one game at a time and putting our best foot forward in each game".

Meanwhile, in Chapelton Clarendon, 2017 finalist Clarendon College stamped their class sending a clear warning that they might be a potential title contender in this years ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition by thrashing Kellits high 5-0 to move on 6 points with a game in hand sitting second in group H behind Lennon High with 9 points. Defender Sanjay Willams netted a brace while Roderick Granville, Norland Beckford and Jaland Larmond added their name to the scoresheet for Clarendon college.

0n Saturday, September 22 2018, Clarendon College will take on Lennon High in a highly anticipated top of the table/rivalry encounter at the Clarendon College football field Chapelton.
