Twenty-seven of 32 teams have qualified for the Inter-zone stage of the ISSA/Flow daCosta Cup rural area football competition after Saturday’s final set of matches in the return round.

Defending champions Clarendon College made progress on Saturday as they whipped Thompson Town 3-0 to win Group H and will contest Zone 4 in the Inter-zone that starts on Wednesday, along with Munro College, Manchester High and the runner up from Zone G.

The other five places including the two best third place lottery winners will be confirmed on Monday after the playing of several rescheduled games, including five that were rained out on Saturday.

The schools that have already booked Inter-zone spots are- St James High and Cornwall College from Zone A, Rusea’s High and Frome Technical from Zone B, Spot Valley and Herbert Morrison Technical from Zone C, Mannings School from Zone D, STETHS and Munro College from Zone E, Manchester High from Zone F, Alston from Zone G, Clarendon College and Lennon High from Zone H, Marcus Garvey Technical and Browns Town from Zone I, Annotto Bay and Islington from Zone J, Dinthill Technical and Ewarton High from Zone K, Port Antonio High and Fair Prospect from Zone L, Glenmuir and Denbigh from Zone M, Vere Technical and Kemps Hill from Zone N, Paul Bogle an Seaforth High from Zone O.
