Green Pond High set up a big match up against Cornwall College after beating Maldon High 5-0 in their ISSA/Wata DaCosta Cup Zone A game on Monday.

Three teams are on three points including Anchovy High who scored a rare win over St James High and Cornwall College who came from behind to beat Irwin High on Saturday.

Green Pond are the leaders on goal-difference however as Kharim Daley scored a brace to lead them to their biggest win since 2014 when they beat Irwin High 10-0.

Markino Smith’s goal led Anchovy High to their first win over St James High in years as they also won their opening game for the second straight year under Coach Hector Wright.

Mannings School blasted Belmont Academy 5-0 to take the early lead in Zone D while Maud McLeod won their first game as the returned to the competition after a two year break, edging Grange Hill High 1-0.
