Title favourites Clarendon College scored five goals for the third straight game overwhelming Old Harbour High as the quarterfinals of the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition kicked off on Tuesday with seven games in the four groups.

All the favourites obliged as Cornwall College continued to operate under the radar, beating fancied Charlemont High 3-1 in Ewarton as Manchester High beat a tired looking St James High 4-0 at Jarrett Park and St Elizabeth Technical blanked Lennon High 2-0.

Nique Daley scored yet another brace as he led Clarendon College on a romp against Old Harbour High, following up back to back 5-0 wins over Green Island High in the second round.

Duran Panton also got a double for last year's beaten finalists while Lamar Walker scored the other goal.

Aiden Jokombo got his third straight double as Cornwall College came out of the blocks like a house on fire and ran out 3-1 winners over Charlemont who were losing for the second time in three games.

Marlando Maxwell got back to back braces for Manchester High as they overwhelmed St James High in the second half after leading 1-0 at halftime.

Ronaldo Webster also got a two-timer late in the game as STETHS shut down Lennon High at Juici Field while Martin Beech's second-half goal was enough for Dinthill to beat Petersfield at Frome.

Mile Gully seems to have used up their luck in their second-round upset of defending champions Rusea's High as they were beaten 1-0 at Carder Park by Port Antonio while Frome Technical made full use of home field advantage against Maggotty High, winning 1-0.
