A day after Glenmuir High created history by becoming the first school to advance on away goals, three more teams followed suit on Saturday in the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition.

Giant killers Mile Gully High who knocked out defending champions Rusea's High, Petersfield High and Maggotty High all booked their places in the quarterfinals via the tiebreaker.

Mile Gully the 32nd ranked team, and a best third-place qualifier advanced instead of the champions as Petersfield High got the better of BB Coke despite losing their return leg game 0-2 while Maggotty High got the better of Cedric Titus who failed at this stage for the second straight year.

Rusea's High was not able to replicate last year's second game recovery as they gave up a 3-0 lead and only won 3-2 as the tie ended in a 4-4 draw and Mile Gully progressed on the away goals rule as they scored two in Lucea.

Petersfield High had scored four times away to BB Coke on Wednesday and rode that to the quarterfinals when their tie also ended in a 4-4 draw.

A 1-1 draw between Maggotty High and Cedric Titus High at Elleston Wakeland Centre, saw the St Elizabeth school advanced ahead of the Clarks Town based Cedric Titus.

St James High meanwhile just got the better of Paul Bogle High as they won 4-3 on penalty kicks as both games ended in 1-1 draws and the extra time failed to produce any goals.

St James High had to come from behind at Jarrett Park on Wednesday but gave up a lead on Saturday as the teams ended at 2-2.
