Scorers Duhaney Williams and Romaine Walsh 2-1 victory over Lennon

Manchester High booked their place in Friday’s ISSA/Flow Ben Francis Knock out football final after a last gasp come from behind 2-1 extra time win over a wasteful Lennon High in their semi-finals played at Juice Park Monday.

Romaine Walsh scored in the 90th minute of regulation to save Manchester High, equalising the scores at 1-1 while Duhaney Williams scored the winner in the 108th minute.

Lennon high who were in their first Ben Francis KO semi-final have only themselves to blame after taking the lead as early as the 8th minute through Chadwayne Nelson then wasting a handful of scoring chances to put away the game for good.

This is Manchester High second time in the KO final after losing to STETHS in 2009 when the final was played at St Elizabeth Technical. Manchester High will meet the winner of Tuesday’s second semi- finals between holders St Elizabeth Technical High and Dinthill Technical at Manchester High School grounds.
