DRAX HALL, St Ann-
Newcomers Steer Town came within minutes of scoring a win in their first ever ISSA daCosta Cup schoolboys’ football game after they were denied by a last minute equaliser in their game against Ocho Rios High as their Zone I game at Drax Hall ended in a 1-1 draw.

Marcus Garvey and Cedric Titus however scored wins over York Castle High and Browns Town respectively to get off to a winning start in the same zone.
National Under 17 representative Imani Beckford scored twice for Marcus Garvey in their 5-1 win as Mario Hyatt, Daniel Green and a York Castle player scored the other goals.
Jermaine Cato, Jamar Scott and Akeem Skyers scored for Cedric Titus in their 3-0 win.
Kemps Hill also got off to a comfortable start blanking Old Harbour High 4-0 in a Zone N game at Soya Oval as Ronell Miller, Romaine Richards, Davian Pinnock and Donovan Salmon scored one each.
Foga Road and Central High ended 0-0 in their other game.
