St Catherine High School suffered their first loss of the 2016 Manning Cup season. Their Spanish Town rivals Jonathan Grant clipped them 1-0 on Friday October 7th, 2016.

Last season semi-finalist, Jonathan Grant, now moves to second position in Group D behind leaders Haile Selassie who defeated Meadowbrook 1-0 to remain a top the group.

Other group result saw Ardenne defeating Pembrook Hall 2-0.

Haile Selassie now moves to twenty-one (21) points two (2) above second place Jonathan Grant who now move to nineteen (19) with both having two games remaining.
St Catherine drop to third on seventeen (17) as they will look to rebound from their loss when they travel to group leaders Haile Selassie, second place Jonathan Grant will host bottom of the table Pembrook Hall, while Ardenne host Meadowbrook. Game day will be Monday October 10, 2016.
