Manning Cup Group D as of Sept 23 round of games

With one win from four games, Meadowbrook High sits on 3 points and in fifth in group D of the 2016 Manning Cup, and goes up against Ardenne High at Michigan Ave at 3:30pm.

Ardenne who are on 4 points, sits in fourth place and a win tomorrow is very crucial of the Ardenne Road based school. It will be a reunion for their captain Lindon Roberts and goalkeeper Jomar Graham who both return to where they once called home after doing 5 years at the Meadowbrook Ave institution.

The Harold Thomas coached team are coming off a win after getting by Pembroke Hall 2-0 on September 19th.

Over on the blue and green side of things, the Neo Oxford coached unit is rearing to go after their relentless fight in their 3-2 loss to group leaders Haile Selassie.

Scoring 5 goals in 2 games is evidence that the Meadowbrook Unit has found their shooting boots. However the fact that they have conceded 5 goals in 2 games may be a concern for Oxford.

Meadowbrook is yet to play back to back games this season with the same starting team, but will be happy that starting goalkeeper Akeem Wilson is fully recovered from his spell of the Zic V virus and retains his position between the sticks.
