An elated Jamaica College team, supporters and sponsors lift the 2013 Olivier Shield. - Ricardo Makyn photo The Kingston high school won the match against St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) 2-0.

The now 17 times Olivier Shield winners, took charge of the match in the first eight minutes scoring against STETHS whom they had beaten 3-0 in St Elizabeth, last Wednesday.

The ball which seemed to spend most of the first-half in JC’s possession was again place in the back of the net in the 35th minute by the Hope Road high school boys.

There wasn’t much action in the second-half as JC dominated and maintained control of the ball, and energetically cruised through the added on stoppage time as the fans roared.

Jamaica College first lifted the Olivier Shield in 1909, and shared it with Munro College in 1919.

St Elizabeth Technical High School lifted the shield in 1999.
